Technical Support/Customer Service: Immediate opportunity for an Internet Technical Support/Customer Service Representative position in the Placerville area. The primary function of this position is to perform technical support on both PC-based software and some hardware products specific to internet related issues. Candidates should be proficient in resolving windows-related performance problems, resolving internet issues, and troubleshooting email issues. This position requires both technical proficiency and strong communications abilities.

  • Comfortable with PC terminology
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Ability to type 40 plus words per minute

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for performing internet technical support for Placerville/Sacramento area. The position would include setting up dialup accounts, email accounts, web hosting and some wireless accounts for a well established Internet Service Provider. Requires 1-2 years of related work experience, or AA degree, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Client Services Representative: Walker’s has an immediate opportunity for a Client Service Representative position in the Placerville area. The primary function of this position is to provide exceptional customer service to our new and well established Walkers customers. This position is valued as one of the most important positions in the company. Under general supervision, the client services representative will provide support in a front-desk client services environment.

  • Customer Service Representatives must be able to handle a high volume of telephone calls in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a strong commitment to providing high quality customer service.
  • The applicant will handle customer account transactions, provide customer assistance, and perform cashiering operations.
  • Knowledge of refund and exchange practices in a retail environment is a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides direct front-desk customer assistance to internal and external Walker’s customers; directs and provides information to customers, and facilitates the resolution of customer complaints and inquiries. Ideal candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong PC skills and the ability to learn new applications. Accurate typing skills of 30 words per minute is required. We seek motivation and professionalism in all of our candidates.

PC Service Technician: Immediate opportunity for a PC technician in the Placerville area. The primary function of this position is to perform PC repairs, PC builds, software updates, and software/hardware trouble shooting. This position requires technical skills, customer service background, and a flexible schedule. Techs need to be familiar with operating systems such as Windows 95, Win 98, Win 2000 and XP.

  • Strong hardware repair skills
  • Field service exp is a plus
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Timely and accurate preparation of customer paperwork
  • Meet and exceed customer deadlines

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for performing in house repairs and/or new PC installations. Provides technical support in activities associated with the identification, prioritization and resolution of reported problems. Performs general maintenance tasks and resolves less complex problems immediately, while more complex issues are identified to a higher level of support. Requires 1-2 years of related work experience, or AA degree, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A+ certified a plus.
